a colt guy that's actually taking over when that was the position and that he pretty much gave up and walked out on. So does that look like an automatic? This is not going to be something that is in Jock's future. He's not going to be a head coach unless it's for the Patriots when Bill steps down. Or do you think like this is just going to be an ongoing thing? Like he's going to just just keep interviewing you keep interviewing and you get turned down because of his antics in the past okay nick mass what do you think well so the same thing occurred to me when i heard with that it was the india offensive coordinator he said well there you go like after you turn down that job now they're hiring someone who worked for Frank Reich, who took your place in Indianapolis.

I just think McDaniels has got to be careful.

If it starts to go sideways, I think people are going to look at McDaniels as much as Belichick and say he's a product to Tom Brady. And that, you know, he may never get another crack. You know, I think he should. I think he is that candidate to be that, you know, better guy second time around. So like I would still do it. But there are stakes now. It's building with him as. I mean, you're right. His years without Brady and, you know, Castle, you know, take out Castle. You know, his years without, let's do this. His years without Brady and Belichick when he was totally on his own, right? In Denver, or he was the OC one year with the Rams. Last year he had Belichick, but, you know, that track record is adding up, and it's not very pretty. Totally. Again, and, you know, you mentioned the St. Louis here. I think the year he was with them, they were dead last in the league in offense, dead last.

And this year, they weren't far from it.

They had one of the worst passing attacks in the league. Now, I think we all know Newton was the real problem there. Like, I don't think McDaniel sucks as a coach either.
