That's right, the time has come for the first major of the PGA tour.

Yes, I understand the players isn't actually a major,

but everybody does say that it's the first or the fifth unofficial major or however they want to term it,

but it's upon us and Thursday morning they are going to be teeing it up at TPC out there in beautiful Florida.

And I have to first say, I'm sorry, yes.

This is Evan Jenkins and I want to say sorry for last week's tournament because I do believe that I let off by saying I will not pick Scotty Sheffler this week and Scotty Sheffler put together arguably his most complete performance since being on the PGA tour.

As Happy Gilmore once said, it looks like I learned how to putt and that's exactly what Scotty Sheffler did.

He changed his putter to the mallet,

tailor-made putter that I think Rory uses a lot of guys

on the tour actually use the same putter, but he went out there and I think he made a ridiculous 13 1 putts in a row inside 15 feet and that's absolutely crazy and anybody that watches golf or if you follow along and you know that if there is one thing missing from Sheffler's game it was his putting

Teter Green, unbelievable, and he can strike the ball as well as anybody.

He can hit it as far as anybody.

He can dial in his wedges.

Everything is short game is sick.
