The Hello everybody and welcome back to Red Menace. We want to introduce the fact that

0:20.9

we're actually moving to a new show structure and this has always

0:24.2

been something we've been very open and honest about from the very beginning of

0:27.2

the creation of this show was that this show was an evolving thing we were going

0:31.8

to try some different things, see what worked, see what

0:34.8

people were interested and constantly sort of adjust the structure and the focus of the show,

0:40.5

depending on feedback from listeners, and obviously just the political and

0:44.4

economic events exploding all around us and so what we've decided to do at this

0:48.4

point is to move away from a strictly theory deep dive show into an alternating month by month sort of

0:55.8

show where one month we will do theory deep dives and next month we'll be doing the

0:59.8

critique of the gotha program by Marx but then every other month we will do basically

1:04.7

current events will cover the big news and political events happening in

1:08.8

society and we think this would be not only interesting to more people maybe broaden the

1:13.2

the range of people that are interested in our show but also sort of have this

1:17.5

back and forth between engaging with a political theory and and doing those deep

1:22.1

dives and then the next month will be

1:23.9

applying what we've learned to the current conditions and it's really

1:26.7

taking that idea that we've had from the beginning of taking political theory and

1:30.9

then applying it to our conditions.

1:32.6

It's really taking that idea and expanding it

1:34.8

and creating a new show structure.
