I've got a friend that pastor is one of the greatest churches in the world in Kampala, Uganda.

He's got a building that seats about 10,000 people and he has five services a day, not on Sunday, five days a week.

50,000 people come to church five days a week,

overflow situations. My God, I preached there for the very first time when I was 24 years old.

I was single and I stood on the balcony of the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, Uganda,

and begged God not to make me go back to America.

Not because I didn't love America, but because I was so frustrated with the state of the church in America.

I'd go to my friend's church and we would watch blind people get healed.

So many that we could not keep up with the testimonies.

Deaf ears opening and people screaming out because they'd never heard sound before.

They didn't need anybody to snap their finger to determine if they were healed.

Saw people with AIDS, a group of men, all had AIDS from a village,

walked three days to get to the meeting, and I watched their gray skin turn black again in the presence of the Lord as he drove the disease out of their body.

And I stood on the balcony of the Sheridan Hotel and Kampala and asked God to never make me go back

to America again.

The Lord spoke to me very clearly and he said, I did not bring you to Africa to make you frustrated

over the condition of the church in America.
