Sir Keir Starma, Britain's Prime Minister, told Volodymyr Zelensky that the country would support Ukraine for as long as it may take.

The Ukrainian president is in London for an impromptu European Defence Summit on Sunday.

On Friday, at an ecromanious meeting at the White House, President Donald Trump and Mrs. Zelenskyy clashed over a possible peace deal with Russia and abandoned the signing

of a deal giving America access to Ukraine's rare minerals. European leaders rallied behind

the Ukrainian president, Olaf Schultz, Germany's chancellor, said that Ukraine can rely on Germany and on Europe.

Kaya Kalis, Europe's foreign policy chief, said,

The Free World needs a new leader.

Mark Rutter, the Secretary-General of NATO, told the BBC, however,

that Mr Zelensky should restore his relationship with Mr. Trump.
