At 28 PM on August 28th, 2003, 46-year-old pizza guy Brian Wells walked into a PNC bank in Erie, Pennsylvania.

He was crutching on a walking cave?

He approached the teller, handed them a note that read,

gather employees with access codes to vault and work fast to fill this bag with

$250,000 you only have 15 minutes

The teller told Wells that no one there could open the vault, but she

gave him $8,702, put it into the bag and Wells left with that bag of money, not the $250,000 she came in for.

What a disappointment.

Really, yeah, really took a cut there. About 10 minutes later at 238,

a teller called 911 from the bank

and reported that they had been robbed by a male

who was leaving the bank with a bomb or something wrapped around his neck.

According to witnesses at the bank and surveillance footage,
