So much to talk about today that I'm just going to try and get through as much and give it the best insight, analysis and conversation I possibly can.

Because we have much more to talk about today than we're going to be able to get through.

But the good news is we get to hang out every day this week.

I know the NFL is getting a tremendous amount of attention today.

We will talk a bit about it.

But let me also say that there are not one but two possible flashpoints of real military conflict of wars abroad right now.

One no doubt. I'm sure it jumps to your mind right away North Korea.

But another is also very important and a highly combustible situation right now in northern Iraq with a Kurdish referendum that took place.

These are people the Kurds who have helped us tremendously in Iraq have helped us in the war on terror have been stalwart allies.

And they deserve our attention and in my opinion they deserve our support.

So we will talk about that. I have a and I make no secret of it. I have a particular respect and fondness for the Kurdish people.

They deserve a state and now it's a question of how best to get there is the referendum a good idea or not.
