In all the busyness of starting a new school year, have you forgotten some of the benefits of

ourselves of some of the physical benefits of

homeschooling. I'll cover the mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits in future episodes. It's going to be

Oops, I was wrong, Nana to 10.

I keep forgetting that little sprout, that little bean, which by the way, we just found out

it's going to be a little girl.

We're super excited.

We would have been thrilled with another boy.

Out of nine grandkids, seven of them are boys. And so that would have been an eighth boy. And we would have been absolutely thrilled. But God is blessing us with a sweet little girl in January. So we're super excited about that.

Anyway, I'm also a 28 year veteran homeschooling mom, and I have authored three books,

The Unhurried Homestchooler, a simple, mercifully short book on homeschooling. It's really a homeschooling

mom's favorite, quite frankly, because it is so mercifully short, which is really funny, because

when I wrote the book, it was my first book. I self-published it. I sat down and I wrote down everything that I would want a mom to know who was maybe starting

to homeschool or feeling discouraged in her homeschooling journey. And it ended up being about 64

pages long. And so when I was finished writing it, I was saying to myself, well, this doesn't seem like a very

long book. And then I said to myself, well, this is all I have to say for now. So I published the book

and over 40,000 copies later, it continues to sell really well, which is just such a blessing

because I love the fact that God

took that tiny little book and a little bit that I had to say, and he has multiplied it
