When I think of the stereotypical prepper, I'm thinking of all these like MREs and little disgusting things.

No one ever wants to eat unless there's some cataclysm, basically.

But what you're saying is like, no, like try to just accumulate a lot of the things that you actually like to eat.

And that will serve you in the event that something bad happens,

but it will also serve you in the event that something bad doesn't happen.

You know, he has to go more than two months on a food supply.

We've got really much bigger problems at that point.

We're into like movie level stuff if we're there.

So that's kind of where I recommend people try to do,

is try to get to where you could, maybe you'd get bored, right, and maybe you'd get tired

of eating the same thing, but try to get to where you could have a good 60 days, out leaving

your home and nobody could start. And if you can get there, you'll be able to get through

most things. Because I also teach like like, an order of preparedness to start thinking, like, the first

disasters to prepare for are the ones that happen to only you, losing a job, a loved one

gets cancer, something like that.

And then to think about things that are neighborhood-sized disasters, because they're also

more likely to happen to you than something global.

And then think more of, like, a regional, then regional than like a statewide, then like national, then like global.

And do your prepping starting from the individual level.
