lucky that there's no baseball today to be rained out. Art, isn't that just fortunate?

There are six baseball teams that have yet to play a game, despite the Major League Baseball season starting.

The A's and Blue Jays will be playing a game.

The Rockies and Marlins will be making their 2026 debuts.

And the Royals and Braves, the Phillies Division rival, have yet to play a game this year.

They will all be playing their first games of the season this day. The Yankees and Giants will be facing off again. They started their season on

opening night. So baseball is really something against teams playing on consecutive days to start

the season. This is an ongoing issue. I know there are reasons why, but it just always feels like such a tease

to give you baseball back, you know, assuming there's one team you follow in particular,

like we do here at Hidden Season, and then they pull that team away from you the next day.
