I used to have a second job with a property management company in my city.

It wasn't anything special.

I only had to clean office spaces three days a week,

from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Easy money, and I usually didn't have to deal with people.

Most of the places I cleaned were half empty, waiting on new tenants. So the work was usually

just dust, trash, and making things look

presentable just in case. I have a story about one of the buildings I think you'll like.

It was a four-story office complex that didn't have a lot of other businesses around it.

There were a few tenants on the first floor,

an insurance office, a law firm, and a payroll company, but the upper floors were almost completely

vacant. Lights were off, signs were gone, and most of the doors were locked, with no names on them

anymore. Since I usually started at six, most of the

daytime tenants would already be gone, and I worked alone. But by the time I got to this building,

it was usually close to nine. The parking lot would be nearly empty, except for my car. Nothing exciting happened the first couple of weeks.
