Summary
In this tale a young man out grouse hunting on the moor finds himself lost with snow coming fast, and seeking shelter, he meets an old man who leads him to a cabin in which an eccentric genius lives. Soon he is sent back out with the guide in the night to catch a mail coach which carries him on a nightmare journey.
