Go to Romans 12, if you would please.

In Romans the 12th chapter, we began a few weeks ago on this series, we're calling the perfect

will of God.

In Romans 12, 1, he said, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice wholly acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Verse 2, and be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the

renewing of your mind.

Now, this is two very different things.

Being conformed or being transformed.

Conforming has to do with like a mold that shapes like jello or, you know, you put the jello in there and

then when it congeals, it's the shape

of the mold.

Or, you know, we used to make

popsicles.

Right? I mean, you made them at home.

You made what, the

Kool-Aid or whatever it was, and you poured it into that.

I'm not alone in this, I said.

And so, I mean, then you might have a star, whatever it is, you know, or whatever they made.

But it was conformed to the mold.

Well, there is a danger of us being conformed to the mold of the world.

And acting just like unsaved people.

Thinking, talking, acting just like the unsaved. That will happen unless we make an effort
