Look with me, if you would, in Romans, the 12th chapter for some time now, we have been on

series that we're calling the perfect will of God. The perfect will of God. And our main text

here in Romans 12.1, Romans 12 says, I beseech you, therefore, brethren,

by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God,

which is your reasonable service.

Or one says, your worship.

And notice the word acceptable and the word prove

or that's distinguishing or differentiating.

And he's talking about what is acceptable to God.

That leads into the next part, verse two.

And be not conformed to this world,

but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind

that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Now, he started out talking about what is acceptable to God.

Then he said, don't be conformed to this world why because much of this world is not acceptable

with God much of what's happening in this world is ungod, anti-god, not right,

not good.

And so you don't want to be conformed.

Now that would tell you right there

that everything that's happening in the world,

not everything that's happening is of God.

Because if it was, if nothing happened
