Well, here's the layer keg, Mike, that a lot of people may not like to hear, but let's say the quiet part out loud.

He's up for a big contract at the end of this year.

It is not in his interest to rush back at all.

It's in his best interest to take his time and to make sure he is at his absolute best because of all the zeros that are going to be in that next deal. So if he was already

locked up with the tigers, I would feel a lot better about this because I would know, okay,

he's a tiger. He's going to be a tiger for a while. They're going to do what's in the best interest of both. But right now, his agent is going to have to do what's in his best interest. And that is not rush back. That is not, well, he'll be back at the end of June. Only if he's ready. And he's going to be, he's going to triple check because if he

screws this up, you only get one more shot at this gigantic payday that we're all expecting

him to have. Now, I'm not saying he's going on going to be an Alex Cobb and we're never

going to see him again. But, oh my God. I don't think that there's a rush to get back.

And that anticipation that a lot of Tigers fans,

and maybe even the Tigers want him to get back as soon as possible,
