Thakif, that was called Thakif, and Thakif and Koraysh were two rival tribes, right?

They thought themselves to be the best of the Arabs.

The tribe of Thakif was one of the most obstinate and arrogant tribes,

and it accepted Islam with great difficulty.

We know the incident of Thakif, the process went there, they rejected him,

and they treated him very cruelly, and the name of Ibn Abdi Ali comes up,

the one who was the chief of the tribe of Thakif.

So, the Prophet, peace be upon him, went back to Makkah.

Allah Azawjah blessed him with Medina.

After the conquest of Makkah, in the eighth year of the Hijrah,

in the month of Shawal, the Prophet saw some right after Conquering Makkah,

attempted to conquer Thakif as well.

The famous Battle of Hounane took place.

Hounane.

Hounane was a partial victory,

because much of the army that was fighting against the Muslims,

they fled back to Thakif.

So, Hounane itself was a victory in terms of Ranima, in terms of getting the wealth,

but the warriors, the majority of them fled back to Thakif.

They were not captured.

And so, the Prophet, peace be upon him, then from Hounane, went up to Thakif.
