But he has to have passion also.

Jeff, I think that's the problem with today's sports is so few owners have a passion for

anything other than their pocketbook.

These teams have become nothing more than advanced real estate plays or an opportunity

to siphon 7, 10, 12% of your franchise to private equity at a bloated valuation.

That's the part that's turning me away.

Do you have a particular owner you like?

Not really. I mean, Gors looks pretty good. I mean, if he would show a little more passion, you know, he definitely has that open checkbook. I think the difference of opinion as fans versus what Brad wants to do. I don't think that rises to ownership level. No.

And look, you give Chris credit because they made the home run hire for Eisenman. They made a great hire here with Scott Harris. The problem with the Red Wings isn't the higher.
