We all knew that might happen with the way they got there.

Enigmatically interesting all that more a bit of three people a minute telling me this time world champion and there ain't nothing you can do about it.

I'm just writing right now.

We took the break to do the pod to make sure we get it out to the people first thing in the morning.

And I'm writing that of all the outcomes,

Patriots play pretty well and lose, Patriots play badly and get their heads caved in,

Patriots play okay and show some grit and get their heads caved in. Patriots play poorly.

Oh, no, Patriots play perfectly and win. That could have been an option.

Sure. Patriots played poorly and should have won. That wasn't in the mix. And that's what happened.

It is. They played poorly on one side of the ball. I mean, defensively, though, that was, dare I say, masterful, Tom.

I mean, you allow Patrick Mahomes 19 points, 19 by doing what has worked against him in the past.

And I think taking it to another level.

So I know we like to do slants early.

My slant is, as bad as the quarterbacks were, as bad as the offense was, my slant tonight right now is that Patriots fans, your head football coach is still the best coach in the league.

And that's what I gleaned from the defensive plan tonight.

They took what has worked against Patrick Holmes, rushing minimal guys, four guys usually.
