Dear Patrick, she says, I have been intending to write this email for a very long time.

Today I finally found the courage.

I am a lifelong Catholic.

I go to Mass every Sunday and many times during the week.

I try to say the rosary every day. I whisper prayers

throughout the day and seek to remember that I am always in the presence of God. I also suffer

from anxiety. Since childhood, it was always my dream to become a wife and mother. I have a deeply

maternal and domestic disposition. When I was a young girl, I met a man and we fell deeply in love.

I don't think she means a young girl in the sense of a child.

I think she means probably, I guess, you know, when she was a young woman.

When I was a young girl, I met a man and we fell deeply in love. He was kind,

protective, strong, supportive, and a good Catholic man. I knew he would make a wonderful

husband and father. It was evident to me that he loved me deeply and would always put our family

first. We were together all while he finished his education. Those years with him were the best days of my life.

When he proposed to marry me, my nemesis anxiety reared its ugly head.
