You know, even though we go to Mass, he's a freshman in high school, and he's going to be starting confirmation. He's not thrilled about it. He's not thrilled about the fate. Even though we go to Mass, he's like fighting me along the way. So I was like, you know what, son? I'm going to pray for you that you'll find a cute girl in confirmation class. I was like, would that even be okay? Because I know that, you know, people have come to faith and they found God for the wrong reasons initially, but God works in a mysterious way.

1:16.1	So you're wondering what to tell him?
1:19.1	Well, I was just wondering, like, first, would that be okay if I actually did pray, hey, there's a cute girl in class so he could be motivated to go?
1:26.7	But, you know, if you have a word of advice of what I could tell him, that would be good, too.
1:33.9	Yeah, well, let's start there.
1:35.6	So my advice would be that the ideal is for these young people to receive the sacrament of confirmation because they believe it.
1:45.8	They believe in Jesus.
1:51.9	They believe in the gospel, and they want to draw closer to Jesus, and they take this seriously.
1:52.5	So that's the ideal.
1:54.0	Now, it doesn't mean that that necessarily is the case most of the time probably isn't.
