Summary

Patrick delves into the profound complexities of gender identity and the unshakable nature of biological reality. From discussing the emotional struggles of a male caller to a mom’s heartfelt journey with her daughter's transition, he explores the challenges, the emotional blackmail from medical professionals, and the triumph of faith and family unity. It's a compelling reminder of the importance of standing firm in truth while showing unwavering love.

  • Audio: Neal McDonough – I was fired for not doing a kissing sex scene (00:34)
  • Casey - I heard years ago that every man has some female genes, and every female has some male genes, but that does not determine gender. (02:51)
  • Nina – Is assisted suicide ever okay? (05:59)
  • Mary - My teenage daughter wanted to transition.  She left home after mixing up with the wrong people.  I prayed continuously for her, told her we love her but this is against our beliefs and told her we can't be part of her life. She ended up realizing she was being groomed and she didn’t realize it. (12:44)
  • Susana - My parish started a program that is promoting a LGBTQ agenda called 'Fortunate and Faith Filled Families'. I was thinking about attending one of the meetings as an inquiry. How is this getting approved?   (19:17)
  • Melissa - If God knows everything, then why does He let people do bad things?  (31:38)
  • Anne – My 12-year-old grandson has a friend whose mother is a lesbian and getting a divorce from her lesbian partner.  I’m worried about him, what am I to do? (38:03)
  • Lynn - I looked at that NC Register article about Catholic hospitals participating in transgender surgeries on children.  I just found out my company, which I'm a board member of, is giving money to that hospital.  What am I to do? (44:52)

And he, like many actors, of course, is offered opportunities for roles that can pay a lot of money,

but involve immoral activity in the role. I think you get my point, right? So here is him. He's giving a speech. This is about a minute long. Just a snippet from a speech that he was giving. He's sharing some of the challenges that he had to deal with in Hollywood. And here's what he has to say. I was fired from a TV show because I wouldn't do a kissing sex scene. And I told him up front, this is something I'm not comfortable doing and I really, I just don't want to do it. He said, you have to do it or are going to fire you. I'm like, well, I'm not going to do it. So they fired. And because of that, I lost my big, beautiful house in Los Angeles, my shiny Mercedes, all my stuff, and my swagger. And as you can imagine at the time, I was really crushed.

2:25.3

I can't go for that. Well, we'll pay a million dollars. Do you just kiss her? That's all. It's

no big deal. Nope, sorry. That's commitment. Wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.
