0:50.9	What it means is you are living in a religious community. So think of the
0:57.4	Carmelites or the Franciscans or the Dominicans, etc. Those are religious communities. And in
1:04.9	Catholic parlance, to be a religious means to be a man or a woman in one of those orders who's under vows.
1:13.2	Now, you don't take your vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience all at once.

1:20.7	So you'd be, you'd inquire, and then you would be a postulant where you're kind of living the life, you're living in the
1:29.4	community, you're not a profess sister yet, but you're learning and you're growing. And they're
1:33.9	keeping an eye on you to see if you're the right material for their congregation. And then you'd
1:39.2	become a novice where you are formally now in the order, but not under vows yet.
1:45.2	And then you would make your first profession after several years,
1:49.1	and then you would make at some point down the road your final profession.
1:52.9	That might be another four years after that.
1:55.6	And it depends upon each congregation, what their rules are.
