Well, I would say, number one, that's a Jewish belief, not a Christian belief.

So the Jewish belief is that the day ends at sundown, and so from sundown on until sundown the following day, you are in that day.

That's never really been part of Christianity's approach to this issue. We do have something called like a vigil mass on a Saturday night,
