Summary

Patrick examines the growing issue of affordable housing, how it's impacting our communities, and the unfortunate reality of city workers sleeping in cars amidst a housing crisis. He also shares the importance of grounding ourselves in Jesus' teachings, the wisdom of St. Padre Pio's humility, and why embracing change and repentance is fundamental to authentic faith.

  • Arizona city to allow workers to sleep in their cars as it grapples with housing costs
  • Craig - Housing companies are buying up homes and jacking up the prices. That is the real problem in the country right now.
  • Lucy - There have been van dwellers who are popping up on YouTube. They live in these vans by choice according to these videos. They are very interesting to me. Companies are turning this into a business for people who want to convert a van.
  • Jennifer - Why did they change Holy Ghost to Holy Spirit after Vatican II? (19:46)
  • Patrick in Trenton – How should I respond when my friends, who are not very strong Christians, say that God forgives everyone who believes in Jesus. (26:23)
  • Suzie – What are your thoughts on the Mission of Devine Prophecy? (34:43)

So it caught my eye because the very thought of somebody sleeping in a car because they have nowhere to live doesn't sit well, or as they say in some parts of the country, doesn't set well with me. Sedona, Arizona, this is from the New York Post, allow city workers to sleep in their cars as it grapples with housing causes. And you may say, I don't live in Arizona. I don't live in Sedona. So why do I care? Well, it's a phenomenon that's beginning to happen in other parts of the country as well. Maybe you know somebody who's homeless. So this city in Arizona, Sedona, a beautiful place. If you've ever been there with the red cliffs and all that, it's gorgeous. They have a new program that will allow workers of the city itself to sleep in their
