She says regarding the topic of cussing, I believe the gentleman mentioned that he would be careful

not to cuss in front of women and children. That's true. I think that's enough obvious proof that it is

sinful to use that language. Interesting point, Cheryl. In other words, if you're making a point of not

using it around women and children, does that not clearly sort of indicate that there's something

wrong with that? I don't know if I would go too far with that argument.

I do agree with the conclusion that using that bad language can indeed be sinful.

But here's why I wouldn't lean on that argument too much for this reason.

There are other things that a man can do that not necessarily not around women, but perhaps not around children.

So take, for example, a tavern or a bar. There's nothing wrong with having a glass of beer or a

glass of wine or something like that, but we don't allow children in there. In fact, as I understand

it, very typically, a bar, if it faces out onto a street

or something like that, you can't have windows that are clear. They have to be opaque so that

children, for example, can't look into the bar and see the people drinking. Now, that's not an exact comparison, but I'm just trying to

think there may be other things that would be appropriate for men in the company of men, for
