Green Bay, Wisconsin. First up this morning. Good morning, Matt. Well, Patrick, I think I only waited

about five seconds today to get on the line. It was quick. Well, you got in first at the head of a long

line of people. All right. well, good morning, everybody.

Patrick, I just need to send, like, the most sincere, like, thank you to you and the team

at Relevant Radio.

But I wanted to call your show primarily just because of the way that it's set up for, you know,

apologetics is kind of has that theme to your show, the way they take callers. Because this weekend, I was at a campfire, you know, apologetics just kind of has that theme to your show, the way they take callers.

Because this weekend I was at a campfire, you know, and towards the campfire wrapping up,

people are, you know, having enough beverages where they felt comfortable to talk about God, right?

Because, you know, it's like never talk about God in politics, but we started talking about God,

and there's this gentleman here who was exploring

becoming a Lutheran and a Catholic, and he claims he's a Catholic now, but he still, you know, kind of holds on to some of these Lutheran beliefs, and he started talking to me, and he's just, he started throwing some things at me just like, well, why do Catholic priests not have any lies? like that's not biblical.

And in the past, I would have just, you know, just kind of let it go and just say, well, why do Catholic priests not have any wives? Like, that's not biblical. And in the past, I would have just, you know, just kind of let it go and just say, well, that's what the Catholic Church kind of says. I don't know. But because I've been listening to your show for the past 10 months or so, I was able to kind of tell them, well, actually, technically, I don't think that it's actually like a dogmatic thing where priests can't have wives. And I'm like, well, what about this passage about the Unix, right?

Where sometimes there's some men that choose to be eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of God. Right. So I was able to have an answer. And then when I asked him that question, he just kind of said, huh? Like, I guess it does say that. And it does make sense where somebody may choose, you know, to not have a life and treat his, you know, his church family as his family, be a father figure there.

And then another example is he was saying stuff about, hey, I just go by the Bible alone.

And I'm just like, well,

we've been having this discussion.

You've been quoting First Corinthians and Galatians, and I'm just like, where in this

Bible does it say that those should even be a part of the Bible?

He didn't have an answer to that one, and then he brought the, it's funny, too, because
