You know, what's wrong with two people loving each other?

Love is love after all right and if you

love somebody you should be free in a pluralistic non-theocratic society to marry whoever you want

i mean surely you've heard arguments like that they are running wild in today's society

and if you're just joining the program right now, you missed a little scoop of a

debate that I did with Father Mike Schmitz on same-sex marriage, going back several years now,

going back probably about six or seven years. And it was in front of a full house at Franciscan

University of Steubenville during the Defending of the Faith Conference,

and we did a mock debate. I was giving the pro-game-arriage side, and again, I feel the need to remind you that I don't hold that view, but when you do debates like this, you do the best

you can. So kind of like Thomas Aquinas,

he would give all the best bad arguments for a position that was erroneous, and then he would

refute them. So it's modeled somewhat after what St. Thomas Aquinas did, and so that when you hear

me, I'm doing that side of the debate. Father Mike Schmitz, I'm sure you know who he is,

great guy. He's doing the side defending traditional marriage. So what you, if you're just

tuning in right now, what you didn't hear is sort of the preamble to everything that came up.

But we're going to start now with a section where he talks about,

and this is by way of analogy, using a game of baseball as an example.

So the backdrop to this is the redefinition of marriage in the law.
