Hello, this Ken Hensley filling in for Patrick Madrid on the Patrick Madrid show. Patrick's out for a day or two.

Just, I don't know what he's doing, actually. It's taken a day or two off, and I'm filling in for him.

I'm an old friend of Patrick's. Patrick and I have done a lot of things together in the past, including authoring a book called The Godless Delusion.

And doing something for a while, at least that we called the Apologetics Academy, this was Patrick's idea. He wanted to have kind of a high level or a higher level apologetics training event that could be offered

in various cities around the country. And he recruited me to be sort of the Reformation, the Catholic

Protestant Reformation guy. He recruited Dr. Peter Craft to do philosophical apologetics.

He was the host, and we did this some years ago in a series of cities around the country.

So Patrick and I have known each other for a long time, and he just invited me to sit in for him,

which I've done maybe six or seven times over the last year.

So do not worry about Patrick.

He will be back. He is not ill.

He's just taking a couple of days off. All right. Let me see here.

The issue of people losing jobs, I mean, this is, you know, speaking personally, speaking emotionally, this is a very difficult thing for people.

And on the other side of the coin,

it's simply a fact that as technology has progressed, this has happened many, many times.

It doesn't make it easy. I can stand in their shoes and I can understand what it would be like to have your job eliminated. But Cyrus pointed out to me, well, here are a couple of illustrations.
