Let's begin in prayer. Today is the middle of the week in Pledge Drive, and we've got a ways yet to go.

Let's ask our lady to pray for us that we can meet our need of $3 million.

And we'll also ask her to intercede on your behalf as well

for your family and your health and your finances and your children,

whatever it may be that you yourself need prayer for.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

Remember almost gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection implored thy help or sought thine intercession was left and aided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, a version of virgins my mother. To thee do I come before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the word incarnate, despised at my petitions, but in thy mercy,

hear and answer me, amen.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

And remember what the Bible says.

That's why we pray the memorare.

The Bible teaches very clearly in 1 Timothy chapter 2.

In verse 5 it says, for there is one God and one mediator between

God and man the man Christ Jesus he's our unique one mediator but the immediate

the immediately preceding verses verses 1 through 4 talk about the importance of intercessory

prayer he says that first of, I urge you to offer prayers

and thanksgivings and petitions and intercessions

for everyone, he says, for kings and all authority
