reading emails on the program. I wasn't sure at first, but just countless of you are saying,

yes, read my email on the on the show. So I'm going to do some more of that. And I'll focus on that

in this next hour, probably the next hour after that. Let's see. This email comes in from Mary,

who is listening, I believe, on the Relevant Radio app. She doesn't tell me which part of the country.

Actually, yeah, no, she doesn't tell me where she's listening from. Patrick, she begins. I'm not

sure whether this will be important to you. So feel free to ignore this message if it is not.

However, if you care about how you come across to non-Catholic Christians, you might want to know

that at least to me, it seems like you regularly make very critical and dismissive and demeaning

comments about Protestants and evangelicals. Just today, she's referring to the show she heard.

You mentioned something like, that's who they are, referring to Protestants.

They protest the Catholic Church.

That's a very broad statement, which was certainly true 500 years ago, but which has little

relevance today.

It is frankly surprising to me that nearly every time I hear your show, there is something

said that is critical of non-Cathic Christians. Over my 75 years, I've attended a few denominational

Protestant churches, Lutheran, Episcopalian, and Swedish Covenant, as well as evangelical non-denominational

churches. I've been in numerous church-sponsored Bible studies and

listened to countless programs from Moody Broadcasting, although I can't deny that there

are Protestants and even some clergy who have made critical comments about the Catholic Church.
