Summary
Do you feel like the world is going backwards? How did this happen? The world is going backwards because we’re not living the upside-down life. When we walk among the people of God, as the people of God we preserve our land. And fortunately, Jesus shows us the path!
The path is among the poor in spirit
The path is among the pure in heart
The path is among those peaceful in persecution

| 0:20.5 | I went there to |
| 0:22.0 | shoot a Bible study on Ecclesiastes, and I took a friend with me, and he's a hiker. I'm not a |
| 0:29.0 | hiker, but we went together. He was going to hike. And so the plan was, I'm like busy, you know, |
| 0:37.3 | just shooting video, video, video, video, video, |
| 0:39.7 | and he was going to hike up to Yosemite Falls. And so he goes up there, I'm like, hey, sure, |
| 0:45.3 | you can go by yourself? Is that a thing? Is that okay? You're going to live? And, yeah, |
| 0:50.0 | but he's like most responsible friend I have. So it's all good. So goes up to Yosemite Falls. He's up there. He talks to another hiker who says, hey, you know you can get to El Capitan from here. That's evidently a place you want to see. And so he hikes over to El Capitan. He's looking on his map. He's got it on his cell phone, kind of the different trails and whatnot. And then from there, you know, the plan was for he and I to meet in the parking lot at 5 p.m. He's kind of timed it all out. We're going to meet at the parking lot. I know the parking lot, 5 p.m. I'll pick you up there and we'll go back. And so he's at El Capitan. He's going to go on this hike that will lead |
| 1:31.2 | him to where he needs to be, get to the destination. But he realizes the trail is purple. And he |
| 1:37.2 | doesn't know why that particular trail is purple. And he gets on it. He starts his journey. |
| 1:42.0 | And he quickly realizes, you know, once he gets deep into it, |
| 1:46.6 | the reason the trail is purple is because it's closed. It's an abandoned trail. And so this is |
| 1:52.4 | what he had to hike on. That was a part of the trail. From there, it got a little bit more |
| 1:59.4 | convoluted trying to find where you were supposed to go. He kind of came to a boulder field where he's climbing over rocks. And then there was a bear. And so I'm getting these like broken text messages. You know, I'm like, are you, you know, he's like, hey, at first it was like, I'll meet you at five. Same place. And it's like, hey, probably not going to be five, might be six, hey, it's looking more like seven. Hey, I'm going to try to get there by sundown. I'm like, do you have enough food, you know? Can you send proof of life? Like, are you sure? How much cell phone signal do you have? and there's no, as you, there's no other thing to do, but to keep moving |
| 2:36.9 | forward on the trail so that he can get to the destination that we've determined. Here's why I say that. |
| 2:46.6 | All of us, every person who hears me right now, and every person on the other side of those doors, |
