You know, Christmas is interesting because there are a lot of different types of people in terms of Christmas.

And I had an experience earlier this year, so in October, Stacy and I, my wife, we went to the Philippines to visit our campus there in Manila.

And while we were there, we went to a mall.

So we got to this mall.

And as we're walking through the mall, early October, the music that starts playing behind us is Christmas music.

And I'm like, no, there's no way this Christmas music in October.

So we keep walking.

And sure enough, I see Christmas lights and Christmas trees and I lean over

to Mike our campus pastor and I'm like is this, you know, what is this? Like a Christmas mall or

something? And Mike's no, that's the way we do it in the Philippines. So apparently in the Philippines it

starts in October. I know we got a lot of Filipinos at Saddleback, by the way.

And it starts early.

Maybe for you it starts early.

How many of you are like that?

Christmas starts early.

Maybe not October, but November-ish.

I know there are some of you, too.

You like to keep your Christmas lights up all year long, which we have a few of you in our neighborhood, so that's awesome. But some people, they celebrate Christmas.

They look forward to it.

Maybe you look forward to the presents.

Maybe you look forward to tradition.
