Summary

Listen to this special extended episode and interview with T. Aisha Edwards. We get in deep and talk about psychology, mindfulness, trauma, race/racism, interracial relationships, intergenerational healing, astrology in Aisha’s chart and more!

T. Aisha Edwards is a somatic trauma therapist, who is dedicated and enthusiastic about integrating mind and body in holistic mental health care. She understands that painful life experiences not only undermine our quality of life, but also our capacity for connection and our physical health. Aisha uses approaches informed by interpersonal neuroscience, traditional Chinese medicine, somatic psychology and western/indigenous herbalism to support clients and help them overcome the barriers between talk and healing. Because healing has a special meaning for those living with intergenerational trauma, Aisha’s heart mission is to address and unburden the impacts of socialized oppressions for People of Color and Queer/Trans folks, and is dedicated to culturally responsive treatment across the intersectional spectrum.

She believes wholeheartedly that every person living with trauma can find and embody the unbroken.
