You're going to jump right to a topic. Sure. Let's do it. You went fine. Everything here at the office. We played a good bit and fun game, but then got home and ran into Microsoft's. As I like to think of it, the first real stress test of their new Microsoft Live platform, and it failed. What I read was, and I'm looking at the notes here that they released, is that it's unrelated to the launch of Titanfall. Well, what they said is it's related specifically to sign in. Like those who are on, it was working fine for anyone who was already logged on. So it's like, just like, don't love it. So never turn your Xbox off ever again. Just leave it logged down. Luckily when it happened, I was already logged in. So it was not an issue for me. Just some of the stuff on the side wouldn't load. Well, I mean, I really suspect that that's probably the most people they've had to date trying to get on at the same time. Because, you know, they're still selling consoles. So their volume is increasing. And then they dropped one of their biggest titles. So I suspect that they just hit the wall there. You would think that it's still a subset of the greater number of consoles. Like the number of people concurrently trying to play Titanfall is probably less than the number of people who concurrently tried to play Halo 3 when that came out on the 360. Yeah, but Halo 3 was on a platform that was much more developed at that point. Right, but they really redid... Do you think the Xbox Live infrastructure is a separate entity? Like, is it a separate cloud for the Xbox 1 and for the 360? Yeah, I'm willing to bet it is. That's why you can be concurrently logged in with 360 and 1. I bet that's a totally different platform that it's talking to. Fair play. So, yeah, I think they just hadn't been hit by that much. and all of a sudden, Titanfall, I love how quick they were, too, to jump out and say,

it's not Titan Falls fault. Titan Falls fine. That was in the Major Nelson's statement. Like, Xbox Live is having issues. We're working on it. It's not Titanfall. Which is, that's impressive because that's the first time that I think in recent memory that they've had a big game launch like that where multiplayer worked day one.

In fact, they respawn canceled the localization of Titanfall for the South African market because they said that the internet in South Africa was not up to part of what it needed to be. I guess the people were able to play in the beta in South Africa and they were getting like 200 millisecond ping times. And they said it was all right. But I guess they were just overall and happy with the infrastructure there. So Titanfall is not being released in South Africa. Yeah. It's crazy. They just, EA went through. They didn't announce this ahead of time.
