talking to Cyrus Kurt Patrick about his book, The Afterlife and Beyond. We discussed many aspects of the

afterlife and his viewpoint on skeptics and the reality of life after death.

Cyrus, thank you very much for coming onto the past lives podcast. It's really kind of you

to give us your time. Thank you, Simon. Found your book really interesting, and I like the way you come at this afterlife subject,

because it's a different kind of angle than I've read before.

And this is your second book on the afterlife.

So could you give us an overview of what you're exploring this new book, Afterlife and Beyond?

Well, the Afterlife and Beyond is it is a follow-up, but it's also a standalone book, so you

don't have to read the first book to get what's going on.

Basically, I have been researching the afterlife, probably about, gosh, since I was an

adolescent almost, and now I'm 31 years old, so I think I kind of do the math there.

It's like maybe almost 20 years. The After and beyond, I wanted to compile more stories about my experiences as an out-of-body

explorer or asphalt projection practitioner.

And in addition, I have added a lot of ideas and stories and content from my group on Facebook

where many people have shared their experiences.

And I also combine that with bigger topics about artificial intelligence and the issues with

modern-day skepticism, as well as overarching topics about what is life after death,
