Welcome to a rewind to dynamite. I am John Pollock alongside waiting and we have a very busy

show for you tonight. We are going to be going through fighter fest heading into all in this weekend

and we will be getting to your feedback, your questions and your superchats if you want to

get them in a little later on. But off of the top, we are going to be discussing the passing of a

legendary figure in professional wrestling, Terry Funk, who has passed away at the age of 79.

This was one of those stories that I think everyone knew that the day would be coming for

Terry Funk. But nonetheless, I don't think that prepares you for someone of this just enormous,

enormous influence of someone that I mean had a career that goes back to like in the ring

in the mid 60s, but you could go like this guy was born into the industry through his father,

Dory Funk senior and somebody that ties in everything from Eddie Graham to ICP and XPW and

all things in between. I mean, this was somebody that I mean was wrestling not all that many years

ago when he was finally finishing up like his in ring years and you know, his wife passed away

a number of years ago and that was very, very hard on him. But this is, I mean, it's a cliche of

how the term legend is often thrown around, but that word is reserved for people of the stature

of a Terry Funk. Certainly. Yeah. You know, unfortunately, news that really wasn't surprising at this

stage just, you know, just given recent health reports. Nonetheless, it, any time you have to try to

like put into words either in a 20 minute discussion or on like in an article about, you know,

the entirety of a man's career. I mean, it's really difficult, but it's especially,

especially difficult when you're talking about somebody like the Terry Funk. So I'm sure our

guest today will try his best. Yeah, we wanted to have a WH Park join us here off the top to talk

just a little bit about the career of Terry Funk and there's so many different ways of which we
