The Ukrainians are saying that they are making some headway on the battlefield, especially

here in the battle for the capital for Kiev, Brianna.

And Russians, of course, sort of trying to encircle the capital, have been trying to get

around it from both the northwest and the northeast.

We were on that or near that front line yesterday.

And we did see a lot of outgoing Ukrainian artillery, rocket artillery going towards Russian

positions.

The Russian positions obviously very exposed right now, especially since they're in

pretty open countryside there.

Most military experts are describing the situation on the ground as Ukraine as a standoff,

a bloody standoff.

It's awesome that the Ukrainian military is able to fight the supposedly-vanted Russian

military to a standoff.

Unfortunately, what's going on in the one town, Maryapol, is expected to fall in days

or weeks at the longest.

There'd be the biggest city to fall in Ukraine.

And it's just being pummeled and people are getting wiped out, left and right, and everything

is getting destroyed.

I mean, that city is just being leveled to rubble.

It's medieval, as I keep saying.
