Sometimes people talk about Jesus in a way that just causes me to cringe.

And this is my deep concern that we've lost the awe of God.

It's interesting because a lot of people think what we say doesn't matter.

In the throne room of God, we find out we are saying things we shouldn't be saying.

You see Isaiah, God transports him out of his physical body and puts him right down in the center of the throne room.

He describes these angelic beings.

They're crying holy as God is being revealed to them and they're shaking this arena.

Probably seats over a billion beings.

When he sees the Lord high and lifted up, what is his response? Whoa is me, for I am

undone. I have a thought about this. Well, welcome to conversations with John and Lisa Bavir,

and you know what, John, we tried. We tried to cover the reality of

heaven in one podcast. And the truth is, it cannot be done. There is so much richness. And we're

going to talk about heaven again in this podcast and still not be able to discover all of it.

Yeah, to even discuss it.

But one of the things that we think the reason that talking about heaven is so important

is a quote from C.S. Lewis, who is possibly one of my favorite, he said,

if you read history, you will find that the Christians

who did the most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next. And so it is

important that we have a mindset that is eternity, that we have an eternal perspective, you know, with the saying,

oh, you're so heavenly mind, you're no earthly good. Those things should be incongruent. We should

always, if we have a heaven mindset, we should do good on earth. You know, so many times I will
