Well, when you when you're driving there you're very exciting because you're like, oh I really want to put that word

on the hook and start fishing.

That's producer Taylor Quimby's son, Finn.

He and Taylor go fishing a lot. Do you have a favorite fish to catch?

Um, Pike and Pickerl. Hmm. Because they fight? Yeah, they fight hard.

I do not fish, but thanks to a little help from this particular angler, I think I've maybe come to understand those who do. It feels good to actually cast a fishing lot.

And once you hook a fish,

the day usually gets better. But despite what you see on

fishing reality TV it is not all about landing some monster for the trophy photo for your social media profile.

Even for kids, it's stillness.

Wild places, quiet.

And yes, occasionally a bit of excitement. And sometimes it's good, it's bad, sometimes you catch stuff and sometimes you don't.

This scene which I created mostly with stock sound effects is totally artificial and

believe it or not,

some of the fish that Finn has caught,

they're artificial too.

Okay, so how does this next part go?

So Tyler will get in and we'll scoop up all the fish in the same and then we'll take them a net full of time, weigh them, and then they'll go right back into the truck so we know the weight that we're releasing into the water body.

Every year, my home state, New Hampshire, which has only a little more than a

million people in it, raises more than a million trout in concrete tanks. In terms of numbers, it goes brook trout, rainbows, and then browns, at least.

Those trout are then loaded into trucks.

Moving the track, and driven all over the state.
