I want to talk to you a little bit today about two fathers in scripture.

This is the mode I'm in, really.

My kids are here today, which they're often at church, but there's four of them and they're old

and doing stuff so they're at church at different

times. But they all get to be here. Welcome. Welcome to church, guys. Yeah. It's good. They love being

talked about. The mode I'm in is kind of in a fatherhood mode. And so if I can talk to you, gosh, I'm only, I'm only 43.

So hear my heart. I'm going to talk to you today a bit as a father in this place and then a bit as a son as well. So I'm 43. I think that's right. I lost 41 somewhere. That's a true. True. It was my birthday in a couple weeks, and I was, and I thought, I'm going to be, I'm going to be 42.

And I was down at the stoplight. That's a true. True. It was my birthday in a couple weeks, and I thought, I'm going to be,

I'm going to be 42. And I was down at the stoplight and did the math? Nope, 43. And so,

I don't know what happened to the year, but for real, I lost it. Yeah. Anyway. So we're going to

talk about, we're going to talk about two fathers today.

For me, this is, it's timely for me. So I may just be preaching to myself, but hopefully it

encourages some of you. These two stories for me, it helps to go. This is kind of where,
