| 0:30.0 | We have now come to the conclusion of our series of parables of the Quran. |
| 0:42.8 | Today will be our last parable. Tomorrow will do one more aphorism or statement of the |
| 0:47.2 | Quran. And our last parable is actually not to the chronologically last one. I'm going to |
| 0:51.4 | choose one from the middle of the Quran because it fits with our theme of finishing off |
| 0:56.6 | with the month. So I chose this parable to be the last parable so that we can |
| 1:00.9 | inshallah to have a reflect and take advantage of it. It is the parable in Surat |
| 1:05.2 | Naha'l verse 94. Allah says, |
| 1:08.2 | wa latsakunu kalleti nakadat razlaha minbadi kuwaitin ankatha. Don't be like the |
| 1:16.0 | lady who after intertwining all of the yarn, the thread into strong rope, she then |
| 1:26.6 | starts breaking it up and then getting rid of it. After it was firm and strong, she |
| 1:32.9 | causes its own destruction. The parable is very deep and profound. And of course, the |
| 1:40.1 | image is very vivid. I don't know how many of you have visited a carpet manufacturing |

| 1:50.0 | place is where they do it all school. They take the thread from the silkworm which is |
| 1:54.8 | hardly even visible. And then somebody sits there and takes all of this thread and then |
| 2:00.6 | uses that spool and bit by bit makes it into something that we can then see. And then |
| 2:05.4 | she sits and she does weaving one after the other. Some of these carpets or rugs that |
| 2:10.0 | are handspun, they take up to a year to make. And it's very laborious work. Can you imagine |
| 2:18.6 | if somebody did that? And then after the carpet is done, after the rug has been woven. |
| 2:24.6 | She herself then starts breaking it up and bringing it back into the thin string, that thin |
| 2:30.8 | original yarn. Can you imagine somebody doing that? |
