I'm here. I'm at the Scottish Parliament, as always. And I am not in the office for once.

The whole of the pandemic, or pretty much the whole of the pandemic, I managed to do

podlitical from the office.

But COP has displaced me, so I'm doing this from home today, of all things.

And a bonus it. We are going to be speaking to a very special guest. I will

let him introduce himself now. Hello there. I'm Roddy Dunlop QC. I'm the dean of the

Faculty of Advocates and I'm delighted to be joining you today. Thank you very, very much for joining

us. Roddy, can I just start by asking you, what is the Dean of the Faculty of Advocates?

So the Faculty of Advocates, which is often confused as for some academic institution,

is the representative body of advocates in Scotland. We are the equivalent of barristers in Scotland,

the ones that wear the wigs. And the Dean of Faculty is the head of that organisation.

So I, along with five other office bearers, head up the Faculty of Advocates and represent its

interests with politicians and other third parties.
