write a story worthy of the Packaday podcast. So it's a pleasure to join you to, you know,

down there in Millageville, Georgia hanging out with Javon Bullard. It gives us an excuse to get together here in the virtual world. It does. And it was a fantastic article, extremely well done. I want to get to that in just a moment. But I do want to give you the floor right away. Just tell us a little bit about Go Long, TD, because you were doing such amazing work over there. It's really such a cool place where you've got former players coming on. Matt Hasselbeck is just on talking QBs.

and must view every single year.

So tell us a little bit more about it.

Yeah, I appreciate that.

Yeah, absolutely.

I, you know, back to those beat days at the Milwaukee journal set in the packers day in

day out definitely got a good sense for the uh relentless desire for anything packers with that

fan base I've said it a million times where it it almost feels like they're your boss

in a million different ways yeah I could do a blog post on, you know, the third or four string tight end.

Oh, maybe that's a bad example because Tom Crabtree was more than just the third string tight end. He was. You could do something on a long snapper and they're going to read it. They're going to eat it up. So I never forgot that. And when I, when I launched Go Long, I guess the impetus for it was I always gravitated toward feature stories, long form,

sitting down with a current player, a former player. I mean, some of my favorite stories I wrote back on the beat days, it was hanging out with Forrest Gregg in Colorado Springs, Bart Star,

and Alabama, Brett Farve down in Mississippi. So, you know, circuitous route, journal

Sentinel, Buffalo News, bleach report for four and a half years. And then bleach report moves

on. I just always kind of remembered, that's what I love most, going beyond the locker room,

just those few minutes you get with a player after practice. I don't know. I want to try to get into their worlds

best I can as the NFL and sports media in general kind of changes to more of a fast food
