My name is Nick Schmitz, and I'll be your host on this Sunday, June 9th, 2024. Jimmy Christensen, back with me again. And Jimmy, we're at that point of the sports year

where there is nothing to watch. I was looking for anything on a Friday night to watch, and the only thing that was really on is baseball.

And I love baseball, don't get me wrong, nothing against baseball.

But they all have their regional sports networks, which means that I open YouTube TV and there's no baseball games on because they're all on their local regional

sports networks and I got to tell you Jimmy it's hard right now like I feel like I'm

going through sports withdrawal even though this is a Packers podcast we all love sports

in general and it's a hard time a year. I understand it's summer,

and so, you know, go outside and do things, but I don't know. I want to watch sports still.

No, I know. And there's, like, I'll find myself watching UFL games randomly during the day,

if those are on on the weekend or even the NBA finals are driving

me nuts because they have the game Thursday but then I have to wait all the way till Sunday

now for the next game and I just feel like it's hard to keep my keep my interest in in the

games that are just so many days apart where it's like just give them to me let them take a day

off and then they can play again that is the one thing i will never get about the nb i understand if you're doing a rest day and a travel

day because you're going from boston to davis right like after game two like that makes sense

i've never understood why they need to play thursday have two rest days, and then play game two.
