Do you ever feel like you're behind and it sucks and you feel frustrated you feel mad at yourself you question your past decisions you, why aren't I X, Y, Z? I've heard this a million times. Why don't I have a family

yet? Why are, a comedian said recently, why aren't I selling out arenas?

It's so easy for us to judge ourselves against others.

I think we're all guilty of it sometimes to some degree.

But I was listening to a sermon actually from Pastor Mike Todd

maybe two or three years ago and I was getting my nails done it popped up on

YouTube and he spoke about something called the Pace of Grace and I loved

it. You know it reminded me of when I was in my early 20s I was married I had a great job in

recruitment that I absolutely was thriving in and enjoying and appreciative of.

And someone said to me at that time,

a girl I worked with actually, she said,

oh my gosh, don't you have life figured out already?

You've got the career that you love, you've got the man that you love,

like you're set.

And she's like, I'm so figuring it out.

You know, I'm single, I'm older than you,

I like this job, but it's not what I want to do.

I want to do something more creative and how funny that is looking back

I didn't stay in that career I didn't stay with that man so did I have my life figured out? I would actually say yes. It just didn't look the way some people think a perfect life should look. But let me tell you this life doesn't go this way. We think it should, all that word should. We think it goes high school, college, great job, marriage, purchase home, family, promotion,

promotion, retirement.

Maybe that's the case for some people,
