They're doing this at like 6 a.m. West Coast time.

The pack 12, the pack two, the two pack,

is going to be the six pack. I remember when I was thinking about getting here and taking

this job with you, thinking about how much of a challenge it would be to do a pod every single

day. Nope. And let me just frankly put it out there. I'm an idiot.

There's always, always something. There's always, always something. Yeah, so big news,

realignment. Um, I have some takes like always, um, but why don't you run them through what's going

on and then I'll start blazing the microphone. Yes. So here's what is happening. So the PAC 12, which is the two pack, which is Oregon State and

Washington State, remember how I was saying all along, I thought they were going to wind up merging

with the Mountain West and they just used, they would then use the PAC 12 intellectual property and it would become the Pact 12 because that has more brand recognition.

Well, they're not going to do it that way.

And it sounds like the Mountain West put a little too much pressure on them early.

And the two Pact 12 schools realized they had some leverage here.

And so they decided to use it.

So what they're going to do is they're going to cherry pick the best of the Mountain West.

So they're taking Boise State, Fresno State, Colorado State, and San Diego State.

That gets them to six.

Now, the magic number here is eight, and that's not necessarily a football number.
