I'm Tom Bosley.

We live on Earth, but beyond are the stars, and beyond the stars are infinite other universes.

And we're not alone.

And every so often an alien wind blows in from another frontier to terrify us

because it is beyond our understanding.

This is a let's suppose story.

Let's suppose we have enough imagination not to be like our fathers and mothers. I mean,

they tend to brush off the talk of other worlds. But the 20th century is catching up with

them, and all of us. From here on in, anything is possible. So let's suppose you're Jenny Blake, not quite 16.
