which means the Oscars are happening days from when you listen to this podcast in case you weren't paying attention. I've got my experts here to talk with Oscars and the state of movies in general because we like to have that conversation. Welcome, guys. Thank you for having us. Good to be here. I literally. We're going to talk about the movies that are up for awards this year and who's going to the movies and what all that means.

As always, I ask you guys for advice about what I should be watching in advance of the Oscars.

I'd seen a few of them. A few of the Oscar nominated movies this year, in part because they were easy to watch, and in part because you could see movies and theaters this year. Yep. Some people did. They were almost all Marvel movies in most part, but you could see indie movies. I saw a licorice pizza at the Alamo.

That was very exciting.

Good theater movie.

But I watched Power of the Dog last night because that seems to be the front runner for Best Picture.

Definitely one of them.
