America's deadliest mass shooting. Who? Where? And why?

Hello again. I'm Arminow and the end. This is To the Point from Public Radio International.

A shooter and 49 victims are dead. At least five are in grave condition as the White House, the FBI, and all Americans try to understand Saturday's events in Orlando.

The Pulse Club, a well-known gathering spot for the LGBT community, was attacked by a gunman who'd been investigated for radicalism two years ago.

The FBI has told the president that the shooter acted alone,

but was he radicalized by the internet propaganda posted by the Islamic State?

We'll hear about the shooter and his victims, as well as the ongoing investigation.

We'll hear the very different reactions of presidential candidates, Clinton, and Trump.
