Hey everyone, welcome to another installment of Harry Potter Theory.

Today we'll be discussing the life of the infamous Professor Severus Snape in under

10 minutes.

With a life like Severus Snapes that created such public,

not to mention infamous speculation throughout the wizarding world, it's easy to understand why

so many of the videos and resources out there describing his life are so, so very long. But I know

that not all of you have the time to sit back, crack open a six-pack of

Fanta, and listening for hours at a time.

This of course doesn't mean that you don't want to know about Severus, you just have

other places to be and things to do.

I get it.

So it's to you that I dedicate this video, the life of Severus Snape in ten minutes.

Let's get started. Born on January 9th, 1960,

as the only child to a muggle known as Tobias Snape and a witch called Eileen Prince,

Severus was raised in the muggle dwelling of Spinner's End. If you've never heard of it,

Spinners End is a shabby suburb of Cokeworth, which is, in actual fact, a fictional town in the English

Midlands.

Throughout his childhood, Severus was badly mistreated by both his parents.

On many occasions as a boy, he was physically abused by his father, while his mother was more
